EA SPORTS FC Franchise Activation Intern

The Challenge Ahead

After nearly 30 years of creating genre-defining, interactive football experiences with the world's biggest football entertainment platform, EA SPORTS FC, we are soon beginning a new era. EA SPORTS FC will become the future of football – as we strive to take global football experiences to new heights, on behalf of football fans everywhere.

Join the FC Franchise Activation Team in our Cologne Office. This is a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in an international company at the intersection of the video games and sports industry.

Responsibilities:

You will support daily operations related to football ambassadors, football and brand partnerships, talents, social communities, entertainment and more.
You will help prepare agency briefs (PR, Talents etc.), help analyse and implement recommendations.
You will contribute to the management of Football Partnerships, working with key partner leagues and clubs in Germany, Switzerland and Austria.
You will support PR activities, including drafting press releases, sharing information and assets with agencies.
You will analyse and track data/insights, and help draft both internal and external activation reports.
You will coordinate with departments across the product lifecycle (International Marketing, Legal, Commercial, and Development Studio).
You will adapt packaging, product sheets and marketing materials for the German-speaking market
You will review translations before content goes live into blogs or websites
You will support adaptation of advertising campaigns across TV, radio, print and online.
You will help manage social channels and communities (Instagram, X, TikTok, YouTube, Twitch) and monitor against performance goals.

Eligibility:

Currently enrolled as a student in a Business School or University with a planned internship period in studies.
Eligible to work in Cologne, Germany without relocation or visa support.

Skills:

Fluency in German and English, with the ability to collaborate with international brand and development teams.
Passion and knowledge of Football
Interest in the entertainment and video game industry. Knowledge of EA SPORTS FC and Ultimate Team campaigns is a plus.
Familiarity with social media and streaming platforms
