Job Description
The Future Talent Program features internships that last up to 12 weeks and will include one or more projects. These opportunities in our Research and Development Division can provide you with great development and a chance to see if we are the right company for your long-term goals.
The Cell-Mediated Immunity Group within Pharmacodynamics and Metabolism Bioanalytics at our Company is seeking a motivated summer intern to join its team. The primary role will be to learn, perform, and develop assays with an emphasis on T-cell immunology methodologies (e.g., multi-color flow cytometry) critical for early vaccine programs. This lab-based position will be held in Springhouse, PA.
Responsibilities may include:
Develop cellular immunology techniques including cell culture, ELISpot/FluoroSpot, and flow cytometry
Develop skills associated with assay planning and design (including design of hypothesis, proper controls, and experimental procedures)
Learn how to interpret results and analyze data using various tools such as GraphPad PRISM, and R
Learn and execute flow cytometer instrument setup, QC, sample acquisition, and proper maintenance
Learn and perform compensation and sample acquisition on the cytometer
Learn and perform cell gating and data analysis
Properly document experiments and data analysis
Work according to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and regulatory guidance
Maintain accurate records of ongoing projects in adherence with GxP documentation guidelines
Assist in generation and review of SOPs, reports and other formal documentation
Collaborate and communicate with other laboratory scientists, management, and Quality Assurance to ensure timely delivery of results
Adhere to GLP regulations and safety requirements
Education:
Candidate must be currently enrolled as a first or second-year student at a US-accredited university majoring in Biology, Molecular Biology, Immunology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Bioengineering, or a related biological science discipline.
Required Skills and Experience:
Candidate must have basic laboratory experience including pipetting and sterile techniques.
Candidate must have familiarity with Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Candidate must be able to work onsite from Monday to Friday, during a 10-12 week period spanning from May to August of 2026.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Candidate should have experience with immunology techniques, such as handling primary cells, cell lines, and PBMCs.
Candidate should have familiarity with data analysis, especially in using tools such as GraphPad PRISM.

Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate’s relevant skills, experience, and education.
Salary range:
The salary range for this role is $39,600.00-$105,500.00 USD
