As Intern - MRO Manufacturing Engineer you will work in our Brindisi site and you will have the opportunity to develop technical skills and learn more about Aerospace industry.
Together with MRO, Engineering, Quality and PM you will take part in engaging projects and learn how to manage technical non-conformities on engine components and modules. You will participate in LEAN activities in order to optimize our processes and you will bring new ideas in our business.

Job Description

Essential Responsabilities

  • Learn how to analyze technical non-conformities on engine components and modules, manage concessions with the engineer design responsible to determine the status of components and enable the continuation of overhaul activities

  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Program Management and other stakeholders to support the assigned project within integrated processes

  • Study applicable engine manuals and issue shop documentation that complies with manual requirements, aviation legislation standards and EHS requirements

  • Participate in LEAN initiatives aimed at process simplification to reduce costs and reach business goals

  • Participate in technical analyses for engine/module/component maintenance activities, defining the necessary work scope to guide shop operations

  • Bring new ideas and provide positive contributions to current processes

  • Actively engage in LEAN initiatives

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Engineering field, preferably in Aeronautical, Aerospace, Mechanical, Energy, Material, or Management Engineering

  • Fluent Italian and English

  • Knowledge of technical drawing

  • Knowledge of Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Curious and eager to learn

  • Capable of managing multiple tasks concurrently.

  • Analytical mindset and problem solving skills

  • Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required
