This opportunity will provide exposure to multiple of Cox Automotive’s businesses, including Inventory Solutions (Manheim and Central Dispatch), NextGear Capital and EV Battery Solutions.

What You'll Do:

  • Support communications and thought leadership efforts that align with the strategic priorities of the businesses our communications team supports.
  • Write, review and edit internal communications and help publish them on our communications channels.
  • Provide hands-on support of communications events—like All Hands meetings or other employee communications events.
  • Pull communication metrics for program summaries and share observations based on data.
  • Support the development and organization of a communications asset library.
  • Partner with the broader Corporate Communications team to support a variety of projects as needed.
  • The intern will also get the opportunity to be mentored by team members and participate in meetings, brainstorming, and strategy sessions.

Who You Are:

  • Undergraduate student (junior or senior), graduate student or recent graduate majoring in communications, public relations, journalism, English, marketing and/or a related field.
  • Efficient executor and team player.
  • Able to manage time to execute high-quality deliverables.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office (especially Word and PowerPoint).
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint and Teams, as well as Canva and/or Photoshop a plus.

Don’t miss out on the first steps toward your future. Apply today!

Intern/Co-Op sessions are considered temporary employment. No full-time employment commitments are made. However, depending on our business needs, some interns may be considered for a full-time position following the conclusion of the session conditioned upon the intern graduating from their academic program and being available to commence full-time employment at a specified time.
