This opportunity will provide exposure to multiple of Cox Automotive’s businesses, including Inventory Solutions (Manheim and Central Dispatch), NextGear Capital and EV Battery Solutions.
What You'll Do:
- Support communications and thought leadership efforts that align with the strategic priorities of the businesses our communications team supports.
- Write, review and edit internal communications and help publish them on our communications channels.
- Provide hands-on support of communications events—like All Hands meetings or other employee communications events.
- Pull communication metrics for program summaries and share observations based on data.
- Support the development and organization of a communications asset library.
- Partner with the broader Corporate Communications team to support a variety of projects as needed.
- The intern will also get the opportunity to be mentored by team members and participate in meetings, brainstorming, and strategy sessions.
Who You Are:
- Undergraduate student (junior or senior), graduate student or recent graduate majoring in communications, public relations, journalism, English, marketing and/or a related field.
- Efficient executor and team player.
- Able to manage time to execute high-quality deliverables.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Competency in Microsoft Office (especially Word and PowerPoint).
- Experience with Microsoft SharePoint and Teams, as well as Canva and/or Photoshop a plus.
