Intern

ML-Platform, Labeling Platform: The team works on generating data and annotations to train models across Waymo. In general, our team owns pipelines and infrastructure to provide labeled data to downstream teams for training and evaluation.

You will:

• Design and implement backend systems for synthetic data generation and delivery
• Optimize infrastructure to run inference for generative image and video models
• Collaborate with Perception, ML-Infra and Simulation to solve problems associated with synthetic data

You have:

• Knowledge of data structures and algorithms
• Software development experience with C++

We prefer:

• C++ Proficiency
• Python proficiency
• Experience working with ML pipelines: training, hosting, or inference
• Experience working with generative image models, generative video models, or synthetic data
