Cirrus Logic is seeking a motivated intern to join our Mixed Signal Products Applications Engineering team. This internship offers hands-on experience with cutting-edge audio technology and the opportunity to learn from experienced engineers while contributing to projects that impact portable, professional, and consumer audio markets.

What You'll Do

  • Support hardware development: Assist engineers in creating reference Designs and demo platforms, including conceptualization, part selection, schematic entry, layout coordination, and hardware validation.
  • Customer integration support: Help with bench-level data collection and circuit evaluation to ensure successful device integration.
  • Technical documentation: Contribute to application notes, product data sheets, and reference manuals covering electrical characterization, theory of operation, and device application details.
  • Firmware and RTL implementation: Assist in developing modules for evaluation platforms to streamline customer design-in processes.
  • Software scripting: Write and execute scripts (Python, C) for automated data collection and analysis to support application development.

What We're Looking For

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Understanding of analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuit fundamentals
  • Experience with C programming and scripting languages such as Python or Perl
  • Familiarity with lab instruments (oscilloscope, multimeter) and measurement techniques
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with schematic capture and PCB layout tools
  • Interest in audio systems and signal processing
Cirrus Logic follows a 2+ day in-office work schedule but interns should expect to be in the office more often, up to 5 days per week, based on business needs and team preference. Interns must be based within commutable distance of the work location listed on the job posting, or willing to relocate prior to beginning their internship with Cirrus Logic.
