Programme Essentials
To join one of our 12-month Internships you must meet one of the following criteria:
- You’re currently an undergraduate studying at University and returning to full time education in Autumn 2027
- You’re looking to gain work experience after completing your A-Levels, an equivalent course or an Apprenticeship
Additionally, you must be eligible to work in the UK without restriction for the duration of the internship from Monday 29th June 2026 – Friday 23rd July 2027.

What will I be doing?
A relationship driven role involving liaising with personnel in Orlando and Hollywood supporting proactive and reactive publicity efforts, promotional partnerships and marketing campaigns. Day to day responsibilities will include: management of press kit content, overseeing the PR team’s media ticket request process, analyzing PR efforts through social media, both celebrities and social influencers, overseeing the media database, assisting with evaluation and reports, coordinating travel itineraries, assisting with campaign sell-ins and pitch preparation where necessary and reviewing and research of promotional partner opportunities and relevant post campaign analysis decks. Additional marketing campaign admin and analysis deck preparation to also be a core element of the role
What will I learn from this opportunity?
The candidate will learn the working and functions of various creative divisions across PR, promotions and marketing and understand how important the EMEA market is to the overall business needs of Universal Destinations & Experiences
The candidate will learn:
- How to evaluate and analyze media coverage
- How to conduct research for promotional partnerships
- How to proactively pitch story angles and news to media and content creators
- Learn how marketing campaigns works from creative development through to execution
- How to compile post campaign analysis documents
Qualifications
What do I need to bring to the role?
- Competent user of social media in both a personal and professional environment, as well as an understanding of the role PR plays in the social media landscape
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills and ability to prioritise multiple projects
- A strong understanding of the media landscape across print and digital
- Ability to analyse and present statistical information using spreadsheets and PowerPoint
