About the Role
WiSC Enterprises is seeking a Technical Program Manager (SME) to provide senior-level leadership, oversight, and program management expertise for complex government initiatives. This role supports project planning, execution, risk management, and reporting across the full life cycle of technical programs, ensuring alignment with mission objectives and compliance with government standards.
Responsibilities
Provide expert program and project management leadership on highly complex and mission-critical efforts.
Support the Program Manager in planning, managing, and monitoring projects from initiation through close-out.
Coordinate and track project schedules, deliverables, and milestones, ensuring adherence to deadlines.
Conduct budget reviews; prepare and analyze monthly variance reports with explanatory footnotes.
Brief leadership and senior stakeholders on the status of action items, risks, and contract performance metrics.
Identify, communicate, and resolve program and project risks to minimize impact on performance and deliverables.
Design and implement procedures to ensure program compliance and fulfillment of project objectives.
Develop and maintain data collection systems, reporting criteria, and program audit files.
Research and compile statistics and metrics for reporting; draft narratives for program reports and briefings.
Evaluate and monitor the performance and efficiency of programs to ensure successful execution and alignment with requirements.
Work across agencies, contractors, and internal teams to resolve concerns and issues impacting program success.
Required Qualifications
Active Top Secret clearance (TS/SCI preferred).
Education and experience meeting SME-level requirements:
PhD + 10 years of relevant experience, OR
Master’s degree + 14 years of relevant experience, OR
Bachelor’s degree + 16 years of relevant experience.
Proven expertise in technical program and project management for government or defense environments.
Strong understanding of program compliance, risk management, and performance tracking.
Excellent communication and briefing skills with experience presenting to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, SharePoint).
