What You will Be Doing

Join our .COM & Publishing team as a Co-op and have a real impact in making our clients’ ambitions a reality! At CIBC, we are building the bank of the future. As an Measurement and Insights Co-op within .COM & Publishing, you are responsible for supporting the .COM Measurement and Insights team by analyzing changes in organic search performance resulting from the introduction of Large Language Models (LLMs) search features and new AI features launched by Google. Your role involves gathering, interpreting, and presenting data-driven insights to inform strategic decision-making and enhance the effectiveness of the organization's digital presence and AI visibility. You will also be responsible for looking at generative engine optimization (GEO) best practices and identifying gaps in our current .COM properties.

At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

  • You must be currently enrolled in post-secondary education and returning to full-time studies to be eligible. However, you do not need to be in a registered Co-Op program to be considered for a role.

How You will Succeed

  • Support our vision: Develop and support our team’s objectives as we shift towards a digital future.

  • Team player: Act both collaboratively and autonomously. You will have the opportunity to interact and collaborate with different LOBs within CIBC and learn how CIBC digital operates in a fun and positive team atmosphere.

  • Be creative: Understanding the importance of page structure and how AI semantically understands our content. Recommendations will align with improving CIBC’s digital client experience, as well as digital channel engagement and sales. Excellent written communication skills are a strong plus.

  • Digital savviness: Be comfortable learning new tools online that will help you gather data and build insights. Get exposed to some analytics data, Google search products and Adobe Experience Manager.

  • Make an impact: Shape and influence on-site GEO roadmaps and strategies. Working with the Sr. Consultant, .COM Measurement and Insights and SEO Consultant, in partnership with all digital channels, you will support business goals, objectives and KPIs. You can pull metrics reporting and provide strategic insights to improve and enhance digital strategic programs for CIBC and the Business.
