Intern

Position: Human Resources Intern

Department: Human Resources 

Shift: 8AM-5PM 

Status: Intern/ hours as needed 

Facility: Miami Valley Hospital 

The Intern position provides the student with meaningful and practical experience relating to the operations of the department and his/her interest in health care and its administration. The intern will assist department staff with various department duties and work.

Education

Minimum Level of Education Required:  High School completion / GED

Additional requirements:

Type of degree: College student who is currently enrolled or recent graduate from an accredited college or university.

Area of study or major: Allied Health or Business preferred

Preferred educational qualifications: Bachelors

Experience

Minimum Level of Experience Required:  No prior job-related work experience

Knowledge/Skills

Proficient in mathematics, reading and writing skills

Computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel

Ability to anticipate and appropriately respond to the needs of the physician and co-workers; deal with conflict assertively and in a timely manner
