- Collaborate with other engineers, teams, and departments to develop and implement solutions to safety, quality, and production challenges
- Document current and future state workflow and potential process improvements
- Lead and participate in lean manufacturing and process improvement projects
- Attend department, team, and project meetings as necessary
- Complete projects as assigned by Quality Manager
- You try different solutions for problems and learn from the results. You stay aligned with your goals and stay productive. You focus on creating an effective collaborative style. You prepare content for communication that is impactful.
- Undergraduate student currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
- Ability to work 40 hours a week during the scheduled semester
- Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship for this role will not be provided
- Strong oral and written communication skills, analytical and decision-making skills, and PC skills including Microsoft Office
- Experience working in a team environment
- Safety conscious
- Self-motivated and disciplined with a hands-on approach to problem solving
- College status of a junior or senior majoring in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering Technology
- Six months generalized work experience preferably in a manufacturing environment
- General Lean Manufacturing knowledge
