Responsibilities

As an advanced DevOps intern, you will play a key role in enhancing our software delivery lifecycle through robust CI/CD practices and cutting-edge automation. You’ll collaborate with senior engineers to streamline development workflows and drive innovation in tooling.

• CI/CD Pipeline Ownership:Maintain, monitor, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast, reliable, and secure software delivery across environments.
• Automation Innovation:Design and implement custom automation tools and frameworks to reduce manual effort and improve system efficiency.
• Pipeline Security & Compliance:Embed security checks and compliance validations into CI/CD workflows.
• Performance Tuning:Analyze pipeline performance metrics and implement improvements to reduce build times and increase reliability.
• Collaboration & Enablement:Partner with development teams to understand pain points and deliver DevOps solutions that improve velocity and quality.
• Documentation & Knowledge Sharing:Create clear documentation for pipeline configurations, automation scripts, and DevOps best practices.

Qualifications

• Education: Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience: Prior internship or project experience in DevOps or Software Engineering.
• Technical Proficiency:
  
  • Hands-on experience with build automation platforms (Jenkins, Maven)
  • Familiarity with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems (Git).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, Go).
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Self-motivated with a passion for automation and scalability

Candidates who wish to be considered must be enrolled in a accredited college/university as of September 2026. Applicants who have graduated before September 2026 will not be considered unless they are entering/applying to a MS or PHD program after graduating.

California pay range: MIN $38.77-$41.75/hour
