Department Summary
As an Operations Quality team at Roche Diagnostics, a global leader in healthcare, we contribute to the prevention, diagnosis, and management of diseases. We ensure our contributions align with our commitments to each other and the Roche Diagnostics Commitments.
Our responsibilities include developing our capabilities to better serve the organization, customers, and patients. We implement new approaches to enhance our work, improve productivity, reduce costs, and mitigate significant compliance issues within our influence.
Strategically, we collaborate with business partners to break down silos between internal and external organizations. This collaboration enables us to develop and produce safe, quality products and services that meet customer requirements throughout their entire lifecycle. We continuously push boundaries to enable and implement smart, risk-based compliant processes, resulting in quick and efficient innovation.
This internship position is located in Indianapolis, on-site.
The Opportunity
Launch your career with the Roche Ops Quality Internship, to build your expertise across our organization.
Gain invaluable, hands-on experience by tackling high-impact projects and providing a comprehensive view of the Q&R landscape.
You will support teams to manage complex system structures and interfaces
You will work both autonomously and with others on projects with the goal of achieving process improvements
You will prepare a summary of learnings and point out improvement areas you discover
Program Highlights
Intensive 12-weeks, full-time (40 hours per week) paid internship.
Program start dates are in May/June (Summer).
A stipend, based on location, will be provided to help alleviate costs associated with the internship.
Ownership of challenging and impactful business-critical projects.
Work with some of the most talented people in the biotechnology industry.
Who You Are (Required)
Required Education (You meet one of the following criteria):
Must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree (enrolled student) with at least two full years of study.
Must be pursuing a Master's Degree (enrolled student).
Required Majors:
Majoring in a STEM-related degree.
Required Skills:
Basic skills working with Google suit solutions (G-Sheets, G-Docs, G-Slides, etc.)
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications
Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
Complements our culture and the standards that guide our daily behavior & decisions: Integrity, Courage, and Passion.
Demonstrate interest in quality, regulatory and improvements.
Basic knowledge of FDA or ISO regulations.
Understanding of Agile methodologies.
Basic programing skills.
Self-motivated and proactive in learning.
Basic Visualization.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indiana is $26.00 - $35.00 per hour. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This position also qualifies for paid holiday time off benefits.
