We’re looking for a motivated intern who’s ready to support a team that values collaboration and is always willing to lend a hand. What You Will Do:
- Manage expedite and open order reports to support our Buyers and keep everything running smoothly.
- Assist the procurement team with creating and managing purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Reconcile supplier problem invoices between Supply Chain and Finance, ensuring clarity and resolution.
- Provide support for Supplier Work Transfer, aiding in seamless transitions and integrations.
- Assist in setting up new suppliers, contributing to expanding our supplier network.
- Support obsolescence and component risk mitigation efforts, helping to manage and minimize risks.
What You Will Learn:
- The ins and outs of purchase order generation and management, gaining practical experience in procurement.
- Key strategies for supplier negotiation and how to optimize supplier relationships.
- Techniques for managing obsolescence and mitigating component risk.
- Insights into Buy to Buy Work Transfer Management, crucial for smooth supply chain operations.
- Hands-on experience with the Macola ERP system, enhancing your technical skills.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for learning and a proactive attitude.
