The Application Security Analyst plays a critical role in protecting the organization’s applications from security threats by identifying vulnerabilities, guiding development teams in secure coding practices, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and internal policies. The ideal candidate will work closely with development, DevOps, architecture, and compliance teams to embed security into the application lifecycle and support the organization’s overall security posture.

Our interns are matched to projects based on their abilities and current business needs. All projects will have significant strategic and/or operating importance to the business to which they are assigned.

Summer projects may include the following responsibilities:

  • Security Assessment and Testing
  • Perform different application security testing.
  • Conduct manual and automated code reviews to identify security vulnerabilities.
  • Perform penetration testing or coordinate with third parties for testing engagements.
  • Analyze, triage, and prioritize security vulnerabilities using internal tools.
  • Work with application teams to guide vulnerability remediation efforts.
  • Provide secure coding guidance and awareness training.
  • Contribute to DevSecOps pipelines by integrating security tools and controls.
  • Document security findings, technical assessments, and mitigation plans.
  • Prepare reports for management and technical teams, including risk ratings and remediation timelines.

Start Date:This internship is set to begin on either May 11th or June 15th, 2026 for a duration of 10-12 weeks – dependent upon student availability per academic calendars.

Compensation & Relocation:Our undergraduate Research & Development internships offer an hourly rate between $21.50 - $28.75 dependent upon the location you are supporting (aligned to respective cost-of-living guidelines). Additionally, a relocation stipend is offered in the amount of $5,000 if necessary. Student must be located 50+ miles away from the physical location of the internship to be eligible for the relocation stipend.
