Job purpose
The HR Intern supports the Talent/HR Manager by coordinating leadership development programs, assisting with training needs assessments, and managing LMS data. They help drive employee engagement through site-specific communications, onboarding support, and enterprise program promotion. This role also contributes to HR operations, immigration documentation, and reporting, offering hands-on experience across key HR functions in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
Key responsibilities
Assist the Talent Manager with coordination for Corporate Leadership Development programs, ensuring timely communication and accurate tracking.Support the maintenance of program documentation including budgets, timing and, needs assessments.
Conduct preliminary organizational and training needs assessments to support internal talent development strategies by promoting a culture of continuous learning by helping deliver personalized development experiences and growth opportunities.
Contribute to the development and execution of communication strategies that align with business objectives and foster open, two-way communication across all levels.
Support internal communication efforts by drafting site announcements, assisting with employee engagement events (e.g., Fireside Chats, Listening Sessions), and helping implement communication strategies that promote open dialogue across all levels.
Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, maintain employee documentation, and support international assignment logistics and immigration compliance tracking. Provide general HR site support as needed.
Help promote and coordinate enterprise-wide initiatives such as the BE Heard Survey and BW Moves, including communication, training, and reporting activities.
What we’re looking for
Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
Analytical mindset with the ability to run reports and interpret data.
Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn in a team-oriented setting.
Comfortable engaging with employees at all levels and contributing to a positive workplace culture.
