We are looking for a Product Marketing Intern to join our team!

As Product Marketing Intern - Cancer Registry, you will work closely with the Product Marketing Lead for Cancer Registry to support with marketing of and commercial direction for the software platforms and data verticals managed by the Cancer Registry business area. You will gain exposure to a broad group of functions across the Cancer Registry business area, including Product Management, Sales, and Service/Support Teams.

Responsibilities:

Example projects could include:

  • Conduct market and ecosystem analysis using qualitative and quantitative methods for current and future strategic opportunities.

  • Develop a complete go-to-market (GTM) plan based on findings from comprehensive internal and external research and analyses.

  • Execute proposed strategic sales tools and marketing activities, such as webinars, podcasts, brochures, customer testimonials, website content, social media, etc.

  • Assist with daily marketing tasks, such as aiding the sales team in crafting customer communications and consolidating lead opportunities.

  • Create and publish quarterly advertisements in peer-reviewed cancer registry journals.

  • Assist in tradeshow and meeting planning, such as coordinating speakers, pre- and post-show communication, developing promotional materials, etc.

  • Propose and experiment with creative ways to increase visibility through internal and external digital channels.

  • Produce and refine written and multimedia content to communicate key messages.

What you bring 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

  • Completed or completing an accredited undergraduate program, graduate program or oncology data specialist (ODS) certification.

  • Transferrable skills from either prior professional experience or academic coursework relevant to Healthcare, Life Sciences, Technology, Product Marketing, Marketing, Sales, Business, or Product Management.

  • Demonstrated ability to balance academic and extracurricular commitments (e.g. work experience, clubs, volunteer activities, teams, etc.)

  • Resourcefulness in finding information and answers

  • Highly self-motivated and forward thinking

  • Critical thinking and analytical skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Capacity to learn and apply new concepts quickly in a dynamic environment

  • Must be able to work well within a team and independently at times with limited guidance.
