Data Trading Analyst Summer Internship

As a Data Trading Analyst Intern, you’ll have the opportunity to work with Quantbot’s Data Trading Lab team, a technical group specializing in trading operations, data science, and problem-solving. You will manage multiple trading strategies across different asset classes, evaluate new datasets, and utilize our advanced cloud environment to write and maintain Python scripts. You will also communicate with brokers. You will work directly with the Hong Kong or New York team to process and assess new datasets and take part in developing new tools and infrastructure at Quantbot. 

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the smooth running of a variety of trading strategies.
• Rolling out changes to existing trading strategies.
• Writing new scripts and maintaining/improving existing scripts.
• Evaluating new datasets.
• Preparing datasets for analysis.
• Developing tools using Python.
• Performing ad hoc analysis on everything from orders to market data.

Requirements

• Enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Science or Data Science related fields. Students in their final year are encouraged to apply.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience with Linux or UNIX environments.
• Finance knowledge is beneficial but not essential.

Program DetailsThis 10-week program runs from June to August, offering training and support with a dedicated mentor. Successful interns may receive full-time job offers.
