Join our Product Marketing team in Austin to play a hands-on role in shaping Zello’s voice across TikTok, Meta, and LinkedIn. This is a paid, entry-level, part-time role for someone early in their career who already knows how to grow social media accounts and produce polished short-form video content. After a successful first year, you will have established a consistent posting rhythm, grown Zello’s following across platforms, launched multiple viral campaigns, and positioned Zello as a standout brand for both consumer and business audiences.

What you’ll do

  • Own the social media calendar: plan, schedule, and publish 3–4 posts per week across TikTok, Meta, and LinkedIn.

  • Create high-quality, polished video content using native tools or equivalent editing platforms.

  • Film creative content yourself—whether in the office, out in the field, or with props and scenarios that bring Zello to life (this is not an influencer role).

  • Engage across platforms by commenting, replying, and participating in relevant threads to boost Zello’s visibility (approx. 30% of the role).

  • Track performance and report analytics, using insights to refine strategy and double down on what’s working.

  • Stay plugged into social and cultural trends to create timely, relevant content that drives engagement.

  • Collaborate in person with the Product Marketing team to brainstorm campaigns and bring creative ideas to life.

Who you are

  • You have proven experience managing social media accounts and growing a following—through a personal brand, school project, freelance work, or prior job.

  • You are skilled in short-form video creation and editing and maintain a high standard for quality and polish.

  • You can demonstrate your ability by sharing:

    • Links to social media accounts you’ve managed and grown.

    • Links to specific videos you have filmed and edited.

  • You are trend-savvy, creative, and resourceful—able to take an idea and quickly turn it into engaging video content.

  • You are comfortable filming and producing content independently (without being the on-camera face of the brand).

  • You are a self-starter and doer, excited to pitch ideas, test new formats, and iterate based on results.

  • You thrive in collaborative environments and are eager to contribute in person as part of a fast-paced marketing team.

What success looks like

  • Publishing 3–4 posts per week across TikTok, Meta, and LinkedIn.

  • Launching at least 2 viral campaigns in your first year that significantly boost brand awareness.

  • Driving steady growth across platforms, such as:

    • 30–50% increase in followers every six months

    • Consistent engagement rate of 5–7% on average posts

    • Regular spikes in reach/views from trend-based or viral content

  • Establishing Zello as a recognizable voice in relevant conversations, both consumer- and business-facing.

Details

  • Location: In-person, Austin, TX (approx. 2 days per week to start)

  • Schedule: Part-time (10–15 hours per week)

  • Compensation: Paid internship

  • Level: Entry-level (requires proven experience with social media management and video editing)

  • Reports to: Product Marketing team

  • Duration: Open-ended, with potential for growth into a full-time role

  • Application requirement: Candidates must provide links to social media accounts they have managed and grown, along with specific videos they have personally filmed and edited.
