We are looking for a software engineering operations intern to join our talented R&D team. Our team tackles some of the most complex challenges in delivering our flagship micro-segmentation product, a security approach that isolates workloads and services within a network to limit unauthorized movement and reduce risk, all without slowing down performance or disrupting operations. By working at the intersection of networking, security, and scalability, we ensure the product can handle real-world enterprise demands while protecting critical assets.

As a Software Engineering Operations Intern, you will be responsible for:

• Assisting and collaborating with security and compliance deployments across environments
• Developing simple scripts to automate security or validation tasks
• Contributing to periodical security update processes and helping troubleshoot related issues
• Supporting vulnerability management by monitoring library updates and identifying risks
• Performing functional and sanity testing to ensure product reliability
• Keeping internal documentation and knowledge resources up to date

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Be in the final year of a Bachelor program in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
• Demonstrate coursework, internships, or projects involving backend development with Python with object-oriented programming experience
• Be familiar with Linux-based environments for development and testing
• Be familiar with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP) and how applications interact over networks
• Be familiar with Security Concepts
• Have clear communication with the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
