We are currently looking for an Industrial Engineering Intern to join our team in Canton, MS. As an Industrial Engineering Intern, you will work independently under the guidance of an experienced Industrial Engineering mentor.

A Day in the Life:   

  • Conducting cycle time analysis for manufacturing processes, material handling, and equipment.
  • Performing root-cause analysis to identify and resolve inefficiencies.
  • Proposing, developing, and implementing process improvements.
  • Preparing summary reports and presenting findings to management.

Learning Outcomes:   

  • Exposure to cross-functional teams such as Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Finance.
  • Enhanced technical and analytical skills.
  • Opportunities to apply communication and presentation skills in professional settings.
  • Practical experience with engineering tools and methodologies.

  • A deeper understanding of the Industrial Engineer’s role and its impact on business operations.

Who We’re Looking for:

Required:

  • Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate/graduate degree program in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Academic standing of Sophomore level or higher.
  • GPA of 3.0 or above (Candidates will be required to provide an official or unofficial transcript during the application process for verification.)    
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.                                                                                                                                     
  • Ability to perform work onsite at the Canton Vehicle Assembly Plant.
