If you are an engineering student looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based at our Eden Prairie, MN location, you will get the opportunity to work as a Mechanical Engineering Co-Op on a team that will help you to grow and develop as an engineer.
As An Engineering Co-op, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Work directly with a Lead Mechanical Engineer on new product and continuation development.
- Develop CAD models/drawings and prototype using 3D printing and machining.
- Execute prototype testing for integrity and environmental conditions.
- Discover and explore new interests in your field prior to graduation.
- Apply learned technical skills from the classroom to real world engineering projects.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Zero (0) years of related experience
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) in-person (Eden Prairie, MN),
June 2026- December 2026 - Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Junior or senior status preferred
- Knowledge of CAD systems, Solidworks preferred
- Understanding of basic Machining/3D printing principles
- Basic knowledge of material properties (materials science)
- Understanding of GD&T
- Ability to use Matlab and Ansys Workbench FEA

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The starting salary for this role is $21.00-31.00 an hour, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities and experience each candidate brings to a role.
