Internal Audit is an independent, objective assurance and consulting activity designed to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of an organization’s operations, including key processes and internal controls. It ensures that risks are properly identified and managed, controls prevent errors and fraud, and governance structures support the organization’s objectives.

As an Internal Audit Summer Associate based in Los Angeles, you will take an active role within the Global Risk Management organization. You will gain hands-on experience in risk management, process improvement, and collaboration across departments which are skills that are valuable in any career.
You can expect to:
Review and test business processes
You will document processes, findings, and recommended improvements
You will develop an understanding of business operations and key drivers

You are currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Communications or related field with an anticipated graduation date of Spring 2027
You have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
You can think independently, yet actively contribute in a collaborative environment.
You are a clear and thoughtful communicator
An understanding of risk and controls is a plus. However, we will teach you what you need to know; interest in learning about risk and operations is what matters most.
Previous experience in consulting and project management is a plus

Base Rate: $29/hour
In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
