Role Overview
Provide a variety of support duties for the Parts Operations team. This internship position will provide training within Parts Operations, Supply Chain and Engineering department through on the job training
Key Responsibilities
- Assist and work with the Team Leader on daily work assignments to achieve required results
 - Create and issue a bi-weekly Parts Quote Status Reports
 - Review PIR queue regularly and identify potential issues
 - Develop and maintain a log for order status reports issuance
 - Review PR queue regularly and identify potential issues
 - Run reports on expected delivery dates and report potential issues
 - Regularly run delivery reports to ensure invoices are issued
 - Follow up on status of large Parts only invoices
 - Assist Project Managers with NUS administrative tasks
 - Work alongside Parts Operations team members to develop, author and maintain procedures for specific processes
 - Effectively compose correspondence and other communications
 - Perform other such duties as may be required
 
Requirement

- Student in a B.S. Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Business Administration program at a University.
 - Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in oneon-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
 - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
 - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
 - To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software; Spreadsheet software, PowerPoint software and Word Processing software.
