Role Overview
As a Quality Engineering Intern, you will partner with a dynamic engineering team to bolster software quality through rigorous testing and innovative process improvements. This role involves creating and executing comprehensive test plans and ensuring software reliability and efficiency. Additionally, you will work closely with developers and product managers, to refine testing practices and elevate product standards. This internship offers you a hands-on opportunity to apply your academic knowledge to real-world projects, gain meaningful experience, and contribute to developing reliable and effective systems.
The successful intern candidate will be amenable to working in an exciting, fast paced, dynamic, collaborative environment. Our Quality Engineering interns could work within various teams within our platform and will be matched to appropriate projects based on skills assessed during the interview process.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Current enrollment in a full-time Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science or a related discipline at an accredited university.
- Graduating December 2026, or later
- Must be able to obtain and maintain authorization to work.
- Commit to a 12-week internship in Summer 2026 (May-August, or, June-September)
- Capable of operating on a hybrid schedule from one of our office locations.
- Proficiency across multiple programming languages: OOP languages, Web languages, Scripting, or Database (e.g., in C++, Java, Perl, PHP, xHTML, CSS, JavaScript, or Python)
- Knowledge of, or experience with, automated testing frameworks: Java, Junit, Selenium, TestNG, etc.
- Approach complex software challenges with critical thinking and innovative solutions.
- Strong communication skills and experience working in diverse cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in evaluating or integrating AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving through AI tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or assessing AI's potential impact.
- Understanding of foundational AI concepts including basic prompt engineering.
- Experience with the agile methodology for software development teams.
- Ability to understand several testing techniques (e.g. performance, unit, integration, automated), their strengths and weakness, and ability to use them to best effect - including tracking and addressing of any discovered issues.
- Previous quality or software engineering experience gained from internships, academic or personal projects, coding competitions or relevant publications.

For positions in the Bay Area, we offer a base pay of $43.37 - $47.82 plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location. Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located, and is subject to change based on work location.
