Salary Range: 44700 to 55100 (Currency: CAD) (Pay period: per-year-salary)

Reports to: Senior Manager, Corporate FP&A
Location: North Vancouver, BC - This role is primarily based out of our North Vancouver office, and is open to hybrid remote work
Work Arrangement: Flexible, between in-office and home (2-3 days at the office)
Pay Range: $44,700-$55,100; will be dependent on year of study and related experience
Duration: Eight (8) months, January 2026 – August 2026, with possibility of a longer placement
Hours Per Week: 40 hours per week, M-F

Your Co-Op Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:

Small efforts lead bigger changes. As part of the Corporate FP&A team you will be supporting the delivery of process improvements which serve the broader function. Such projects are related but not limited to planning and reporting calendars and enhancement of templates and reporting used by both internal and external teams.

This will give you real-life exposure to business KPIs and how financial metrics and data inform leadership decision making, driving real impact across the business. The ideal candidate is self-starter and agile, coordinating multiple topics at once with guidance from senior analysts and your manager. This is an unique opportunity to gain experience from a locally founded but now global business, reference in outdoor apparel.

Meet Your Future Team:

Our team oversees the corporate spend including budgeting and variance analysis, as well as consolidation of capital and strategic investments asks. This is achieved upon cross-functional analysis of revenue outlook (trend) and margin targets aimed at sustainable growth.

If you were a Financial Planning & Analysis Co-Op Student now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:

  • Assisting in the preparation of monthly financial reports, forecasts and variance analyses
  • Supporting budget planning processes by gathering data and uploading financial models
  • Compiling, validate, ana analyze large datasets from ERP and reporting systems
  • Assisting with ad-hoc financial analysis and scenario modeling to support decision-making
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to collect and validate information for FP&A deliverables
  • Supporting process improvement initiatives to streamline reporting and analysis

Here are some of the things you will learn by the end of your Co-Op placement:

  • At the end of your placement, you will have gained visibility to how corporate functions operate and leverage FP&A outputs to support decision making. You will understand the core principles of a global retailer as well as the complexities of a multi-brand conglomerate and its implications on data consolidation and reporting. Additionally, you will gain visibility into finance technology platforms and real-life metrics.

  • You are currently pursuing a degree in Business, Finance or Accounting or similar.
  • You have solid excel knowledge and a grasp of Power BI.
  • You lead with intentional curiosity.
  • You are comfortable with fast-paced environments.

  • You have demonstrated ability to follow through projects and commitments.
  • You have an always-on hat for process improvement opportunities.
  • You enjoy data and management of complex topics.
  • You have a solid understanding of financial metrics and P&L structure.
  • You are down to out in the work, having some fun along the way.
