Job Description

THE PROGRAM

We're looking for students to join our Co-Op Program who believe that sound is power. Over the 6-month co-op, you will get the opportunity to apply the skills you learned in the classroom with hands-on work experience. Our Co-Ops will get to network across the business to understand different perspectives at Bose. You'll connect with other Co-Ops and colleagues to grow your network for the future!

TIMEFRAME - Spring Co-op- Must be available January 12- June 26, 2026 and able to work in a hybrid work environment.

THE ROLE

Come join the Bose Product Cloud! We are a mature cloud platform that powers critical cloud experiences for millions of Bose products.

As a Data Platform Co-op, you will work as an integral part of our Cloud Data team in building and maintaining core data systems and tools that serve as the building blocks of our data platform. You will gain hands-on experience across a wide range of areas such as data ingestion, data transport, data orchestration, interoperability and data privacy.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Build, deploy, and support infrastructure for data collection and processing pipelines.

Develop systems using event-driven and streaming architectures.

Participate in code reviews, contribute improvements, and identify optimization opportunities.

Assist with monitoring and troubleshooting issues in data pipelines

Support testing and validation of pipeline updates before deployment

Help document data workflows, tools, and processes

Collaborate with engineers to ensure data quality and system reliability

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with a cloud infrastructure provider, preferably Amazon Web Services (AWS)

Experience building, managing, and deploying systems used for data processing

Familiarity with microservice-based architectures and Kubernetes orchestration

Proficiency in Python, Golang, Bash, Javascript

Experience with REST/gRPC/GraphQL and schema formats (JSON Schema, Protocol Buffers)

Understanding of event-driven architectures, data privacy and data quality Knowledge of cloud native technologies and related components

Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL or Snowflake

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent

The hiring range for this position in the primary work location of Framingham, Massachusetts is: $29.00-$37.25 per hour.The hiring range for other Bose work locations may vary.
