Business Function: Medical Affairs
Team Highlights: The Value, Evidence, and Outcomes (VEO) team translates evidence into payer‑relevant medical communications (e.g., value stories, payer education, and managed‑care channels) to support access and formulary decision‑making. We support evidence generation and literature synthesis on priority topics (e.g., outcomes across populations, health‑system and hospital applications, and emerging use cases) to inform strategy and close care gaps. The team collaborates with cross‑functional partners (Managed Markets, Clinical/Medical Education, Strategy & Innovation) to align data, insights, and advocacy toward equitable access.
Where you come in:
You will support the ongoing development and implementation of a payor focused medical affairs strategy.
You will work cross-functionally to support the development of Dexcom’s value proposition for all payor sectors and distribution channels.
You will support the development and refinement of evidence generation strategies that demonstrate the clinical and economic value of Dexcom’s CGM technology
You will assist in literature reviews, data synthesis, and the creation of internal and external-facing materials (e.g., slide decks, summaries, white papers) that communicate outcomes and value propositions.
You will assist with planning/delivery of a capstone output (e.g., payer education slide deck, literature brief, or conference ready abstract/poster draft) that the VEO team can reuse after the internship.

You are detail-oriented and comfortable working with clinical and health economics literature, including systematic reviews and outcomes research.
You have strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.

You bring curiosity, initiative, and a collaborative mindset to team discussions and project work.

Remote Workplace: Your location will be a home office; you are not required to live within commuting distance of your assigned Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km). If you reside within commuting distance of a Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km) a hybrid working environment may be available. Ask about our Flex workplace option.
Experience and Education Requirements:
Requires a completed Bachelor’s degree.
Must be a currently enrolled Master’s, JD, or PhD student at an accredited college or university with an expected graduation date of December 2026 or later.
Preferred PharmD (Doctor of Pharmacy Program).
Non-Exempt Salary Details:
The annualized base salary range for this role is $29.00 to $39.00. Annualized values for non-exempt (hourly) positions are estimates, final annualized salary will depend on total hours worked. Final compensation package will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, business needs and market demand.
