What You’ll Actually Do
As our Data Analytics Intern, you’ll work on real-world projects that impact how we service devices, support clinicians, and improve patient care. This intern will be motivated, have a positive attitude and be able to function on a team in a fast-paced environment. They should have the ability to self-manage with minimal supervision, to run multiple projects and to provide timely updates. Attention to detail and desire to produce quality work is always required.
The Data Analytics Intern will also work to:
Build interactive Power BI dashboards to visualize device performance, service metrics, and clinical trends.
Analyze data from SQL Server, Excel, and cloud platforms to uncover patterns and drive decisions.
Collaborate with field ops managers, clinical engineers, and data scientists to define KPIs and reporting needs.
Automate reporting workflows using Power Automate and Power Apps.
Present insights to cross-functional teams and contribute to strategic discussions.
Apply AI models to identify patterns in service logs and device usage that signal inefficiencies or potential failures.
Develop predictive tools to optimize technician dispatching, reduce downtime, and improve service response times.
Support the team in ad-hoc data projects and process improvements.
Basic Qualifications
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience with data warehousing, data preparation, or data gateways
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack (Power BI, SSAS, SSRS, and SSIS), including DAX, Power Query, and dashboard design.
Understanding of JavaScript, CSS, SQL, and other JavaScript libraries
Strong understanding of data visualization, predictive analytics, and machine learning basics.
Proficiency in Python, R, SQL.
Experience with biomedical data, image processing, or web apps preferred.
