Our Internship Programme gives you a real opportunity to gain practical ‘hands-on’ experience, training and shadow the experts of your chosen field. It also provides you with insight into what it’s like to work with us.

During your placement as EHS Intern you will gain real Environmental, Health and Safety experience analyzing data to reduce injuries, reduce risk and maintain compliance.

Upon completion of this assignment, you will have experience working in a Biologics manufacturing facility assessing Environmental and Occupational risk, and understanding the hazards that are present in our industry.

You will gain practical experience leading an EHS improvement team, participating in numerous EHS and engagement teams, EHS Committees and EHS promotions.

Activities you will be involved in include:

Documentation, Auditing, and Investigation
Review and revise written EHS programs and procedures
Perform relevant EHS inspections and audits
Respond to EHS related incidents and participate in incident investigation
Identify and correct EHS deficiencies
Compliance and Administration
Update chemical and hazardous materials inventory
Review and update EHS Self Compliance Inventory
Review and update EHS Risk Assessments
Projects
Lead an improvement initiative using the Risk Reduction or Accident Reduction Route
Complete EHS projects as assigned
EHS Promotion
Coordination and scheduling of activities for EHS Week, Sustainability events, Earth Day etc.

Environmental Science and Health, Environmental Science or Health and Safety Systems discipline of study
Passionate about the biopharma sector and innovation in healthcare
Strong communication skills
Ability to work as a member of a team

On-site Protocol
