Data Science Intern

United Talent Agency (UTA) is excited to offer a Data Science Internship designed to provide industry insights and the opportunity to gain experience in the world of data analytics at the intersection of entertainment and innovation. This part-time internship is ideal for students who want hands-on experience solving real business problems with data.

This is a remote, part-time position at 20 hours per week, with a pay range of $20-22 per hour based on skills and experience.

Hands-On Experience:

• Support the collection, cleaning, and transformation of data from multiple business sources.
• Build and maintain spreadsheets, dashboards, and reporting tools to track business performance.
• Assist in exploratory data analysis to surface patterns, outliers, and opportunities.
• Create clear visualizations and summaries that communicate findings to nontechnical audiences.
• Contribute to ad hoc analyses that inform strategic initiatives and day-to-day decisions.

Learn and Collaborate:

• Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into data questions and analytical approaches.
• Present findings through dashboards, memos, and concise presentations.
• Participate in best practice sessions in analytics and business intelligence.
• Learn and apply data governance, privacy, and security standards.

• Current senior pursuing a Bachelors in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with demonstrated comfort working with data.
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including pivot tables, lookups, and formulas.
• Foundational ability in Python for data analysis using libraries such as pandas, numpy, and matplotlib.
• Familiarity with visualization tools such as Tableau or Sigma is a plus.
• Exposure to SQL and relational databases preferred but not required.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative approach.
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
