IT Intern – Technology Operations (Hybrid)
Dates: June 1, 2026, through August 7, 2026
Work Location: Madison, WI | Hybrid

Emerging Professional Program (EPP)
Open to students graduating by December 2026 or May 2027. This program provides comprehensive support and guidance to enhance company knowledge, integrate into the company culture, and develop key connections, all in effort to align graduating students with potential career opportunities.
Job Purpose:
This role is designed to provide hands-on experience to acquire knowledge of methods, procedures, and standards of the organization, allowing an opportunity for individuals to apply what they have learned in a classroom environment while gaining new skills in a dynamic professional setting. Specific activities will vary by department.
Job Responsibilities: Rotating Internship Experience:
- IT Training, Programs, and Processes
- Equipping employees with the knowledge and skills to effectively use technology tools, follow security protocols, and stay aligned with organizational systems and standards.
- IT Compliance
- Under guidance from more senior team members, develop, test, implement, document, and maintain business systems solutions adhering to established methodology and practices, and in accordance with project plans.
- Technical Lead:
- Oversees a portfolio of cross-functional technology initiatives across Infrastructure, Application Development, Operations, and Engineering teams. They provide visibility into project health, risks, and dependencies – leading without authority. The role bridges technical execution with executive strategy by translating complex project details into clear insights for stakeholders.
- Strategy and Planning:
- Drives technology business management, strategy, and an aligned and effective planning process.
- Vendor Management
- Conduct research and optimize relationships with external suppliers or service providers.
Job Requirements:
- Working towards an associate’s degree or higher.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Intellectual curiosity and the desire to learn.
Preferred Skills:
- Demonstrates curiosity and eagerness to learn how technology projects are planned, tracked, and delivered
- Communicates effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues, while taking clear notes and assisting in drafting process guides and training materials
- Manages multiple tasks, meets deadlines, and stays organized in a fast-paced environment
- Open to feedback, motivated to grow professionally, and curious about financial technology
- Supports internal training efforts by developing user guides, onboarding documentation, and contributing to knowledge-sharing initiatives
- Applies analytical skills to review project data, identify trends, and summarize status clearly, with foundational knowledge of project management principles
- Technically literate and proficient in creating concise reports, dashboards, and presentations using tools like Excel and PowerPoint, while maintaining strong attention to detail and leadership in tracking project progress

Base Salary Range:
