Salary Range: 43 to 43 (Currency: USD) (Pay period: per-hour-wage)

What We Are Looking For:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Strong proficiency in Python (and standard libraries including numpy, torch, etc) and familiarity with Robotics Operating System (ROS)
  • Understanding of fundamental robotics concepts (kinematics, homogeneous transforms, etc)
  • Strong troubleshooting/debugging skills and a willingness to jump into unfamiliar technical areas and code

What You'll Do:

  • Develop robotics perception systems and/or deploy them on robots
  • Work with existing state-of-the-art perception models or pipelines
  • Use data to drive decision making and develop technologies iteratively
  • Participate in code reviews to promote code quality and reliability across the codebase

Bonus:

  • Familiarity with fundamental AI/ML concepts or state-of-the-art methods in computer vision
  • Experience with git, issue tracking (Jira), and modern software engineering practices
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic, research-driven environment
