Role Summary

Co-Op Term: January - August 2026
 
This is a bucket application, and is not an official opening. Your application can be considered for Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technologies 2026 co-op program. If you are selected, you will receive an invitation to interview for an open posting. 
 
You must be available to work full time during the duration of the co-op term. 
 
Note that if your university has specific requirements for internship programs, it is your responsibility to fulfill those requirements.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications: 

  • Currently enrolled in a full time degree-seeking program and in the process of obtaining a bachelors, masters, or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in software development and coding in one or more of the following languages: Python, Java, Javascript, Kotlin, Ruby, GoLang, Typescript, or similar.
  • Experience and familiarity with data structures and algorithms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capable of working as a member of a team across several cross functional disciplines, including with external stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications: 
  • Intent to return to a degree program after the completion of the internship/co-op

Pay Disclosure

Salary Range/Hourly Rate for Internships: The range of pay for internships is $24.00-$27.00 CAD per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on location, and other factors permitted by law.
