AIRBUS offer more than 70 vacancies for our full time graduate program in Spain - #Discover I 2026/2027. Starting date 2nd March 2026 until 26th February.
We are looking for recent graduates from different disciplines interested in developing their professional career in the aeronautical sector. The current context demands different ways of looking, thinking and relating.
The selection process will be during October 2025 until February 2026.
What does this internship consists in?
Together with Camilo José Cela University, Airbus has developed an exclusive program (Discover) designed for those interested in the best training in new areas of knowledge essential to be able to develop as professionals of the future.
You will have the opportunity to study a Master, organized in three training blocks, that will allow you to Discover the skills most in demand today. It will be combined with an 11 month internship at Airbus in an area related to your degree, where you can learn and complete your academic background.
The start of the internship will be in early March 2026, and will last 11 months (August disabled for all purposes). It is a full-time experience (40h/week), in which you will receive an attractive study grant.
Internship Job Description:
This Internship will bring the applicant the possibility of having a multidisciplinary view of the A/C development process, having a close relationship will all the Centers of Competence (Design offices), Chief Engineering Offices, Services organization, System Suppliers, Airworthiness Authorities and in some cases with operational customers in the frame of an A/C development.
To support the Aircraft Development Safety team in Getafe, we are looking for Engineers who will ensure that Airbus products are designed, developed and supported according to the relevant safety standards (associated to airworthiness regulations).
To guarantee the Safety aspects of the airborne systems is a key aspect of the certification process, which require specific and detailed assessment that shall be developed in a collaborative environment to ensure that all the relevant contributions are captured properly.
As a Safety Engineer Intern of the Aircraft Development Safety team, you will develop the following challenging tasks and activities:
- Performing a systematic and comprehensive examination of System functions to identify and classify failure conditions of those functions according to their severity
- Support the System Safety requirements and performing preliminary evaluations to determine that the proposed architecture can reasonably be expected to meet the safety objectives
- Support to safety requirements at the interface to interacting systems
- Support input from and output to interfacing technical domains and technology (processes, maintenance, human factos, aircraft performance, structures, quality, etc.)
- Support to review, approval and application of supplier data regarding Safety and Reliability.
Required skills
As a successful candidate, you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Recently graduates/Master students. Studies in engineering (aerospace, telecommunications, industrial, mechanical, chemical),
- Level B1 Spanish.
- Level B2 English.
- Advanced skills with MS Office are presumed.
- Team working skills and problem-solving mind.
