Enterprise Supply Operations & Logistics exists to provide comprehensive solutions for resources and support to Navy Federal branches and campuses worldwide. Our services fulfill a range of needs from simple to complex and involve the coordination of various people, consumables, assets, and transportation. As an employee-powered team, we drive forward a service strategy involving warehousing & distribution, shipping & receiving, document storage & disposal, physical property & assets control, and branch & campus support services. We are always looking for member-driven insights to ensure the success of the team members we support.
Navy Federal Membership is growing rapidly, and the field of supply chain logistics is continuously evolving. We keep members and team members at the forefront of everything we do, taking advantage of data insights and industry best practices to stay agile and continuously improve processes to ensure an optimal experience.
The Summer Associate opportunity will involve a journey of exploration through the facets of Supply Operations & Logistics. This journey will begin with a robust orientation of the operations followed by a soft integration into various processes where knowledge and understanding of fundamental processes can be established.
Building from the knowledge gained, the Summer Associate will begin to partner with relevant POCs to explore opportunities to collect, refine, and leverage data for meaningful interpretation and analysis. Ideally, the culmination of these efforts will result in Power BI dashboards providing valuable insights into operations and KPIs. Time permitting, the Summer Associate may also be tasked with a review of current SOPs to determine gaps and opportunities for refinement, which may include creating SOPs. These SOPs would need to be aligned in formatting and approach and uploaded into a secure OneDrive space for department access.
The Summer Associate Program is a 12-week internship program beginning in May 2026 and ending in August 2026. Students will work on impactful projects and meaningful work during their internship.
