This Position reports to:
Manufacturing Unit ManagerABB Smart Buildings digitally transforms commercial, industrial, and residential buildings to provide optimal comfort, efficiency, safety, and security – improving quality of life in the buildings of the future through safe, smart, and sustainable electrification solutions, services, and products.

The purpose of this request is to define the profile criteria we are seeking for the IT intern position.
Your role and responsibilities
Provide technical support to the company’s users.
Support the specific business applications used by the company, including troubleshooting and user assistance.
Perform maintenance and repair of computer equipment (if necessary), including computers, printers, and peripherals.
Install/configure and update software on users’ computers.
Manage technical support tickets submitted by users.
Participate in IT asset inventory management, including regularly checking physical inventory and updating records.
Perform tests and debug technical issues, working closely with IT team members.
Identify opportunities to improve internal IT-related processes and propose solutions.
Qualifications
College diploma (DEC) in computer science.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science.
Understanding of the Windows operating system (10, 11).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to analyze and diagnose Level 0 and 1 incidents.
Basic knowledge of TCP/IP network protocols.
Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
Ability to work in a team and collaborate with other departments.
Good stress and pressure management in crisis situations.
