About us: 

You will work in the digital payload and processor group where multiple equipments are designed, developed and manufactured to enable communications through a space deployed payload. 

The group is currently building the next generation of advanced payloads for multiple customers around the world. The deployed satellites are key to enabling communications in far-reaching locations with our customers depending on its reliability.

As part of this degree apprenticeship, you will be studying towards achieving a BSc in Project Management which will be provided by Portsmouth University.  


What you will be doing: 

You will be working across a number of projects, getting familiar with the defined process of project management which is fully aligned with industry standards. This will include working on project bids and definition of work breakdown structures and risk/opportunity registers. Working on active projects, initially supporting experienced project managers but leading onto managing projects of your own including reporting, cost and risk management.

Combined with your studies this work experience will support your development towards an experienced project management.

Requirements:

In order to be eligible to this apprenticeship, you must have a minimum of:

  • 112-120 UCAS points made up of 3 A levelsat BBC or above

OR

  • T-levels - Merit

OR

  • BTECs (Extended Diplomas) - DDM-DMM

OR

  • International Baccalaureate - 29

AND

  • GCSE grade C/4or above in Maths and English Languageor Functional Skills

GRADES: If you are on predicted grades, your offer will be conditional to achieving the position’s requirements before the apprenticeship start date.

SECURITY CLEARANCE: Eligibility to gain UK SC Security Clearance OR You will be subject to a BPSS check (including a criminal record check).
