Business Analyst Internship

We are seeking two Business Analyst Interns to join the Sales & Ecosystem Technology team within IT. These roles will provide hands-on experience in supporting critical Red Hat business processes across two key workstreams:

Salesforce Platform: Focusing on user management, system access, and integrations with boundary systems.
Ecosystem (PRM – Partner Relationship Management): Supporting initiatives that enable Red Hat’s partner ecosystem through process improvements, data management, and system enhancements.

Red Hat’s Intern Program is a collaborative effort between the Emerging Talent team and our intern managers. The program is designed to offer a meaningful and well-rounded experience — combining professional development, networking opportunities, social engagement, and impactful work. This is a paid, full-time internship based at the respective RH offices (Cork, Waterford, Dublin), with flexible working hours. The expected start date is January 2026.

What you will do

• Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and technical teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into system functionality.

• Support the design, testing, and documentation of enhancements on the Salesforce Platform and PRM systems.

• Participate in data analysis, user acceptance testing, and troubleshooting to ensure system reliability and a positive user experience.

• Assist with user access management processes, boundary system integrations, and partner ecosystem workflows.
  Prepare clear process documentation and support materials to aid in adoption and enablement.

• Gain exposure to agile practices, enterprise system integrations, and large-scale IT operations in a global company.
   

What you will bring

• You must be enrolled in an accredited university program in the Republic of Ireland during the full duration of the internship and be able to join us full time from January through August 2026.

• Working knowledge of written and spoken English.

• Interest in business analysis, information systems, or enterprise technology platforms.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.

• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Familiarity with Salesforce, CRM systems, or partner management solutions is a plus.

• Experience with data analysis, system documentation, or related projects (academic or extracurricular) is an advantage.
