Escrow Accountant

Overview

The Escrow Accountant will interface with the escrow officer, banking institutions, and various corporate groups to insure the real estate transaction is closed efficiently and within government and corporate guidelines.

Duties

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:• Review incoming and outgoing wires for accuracy• Maintain accuracy between production system and banking activity• Assist Escrow Officers in the accurate maintenance of the escrow ledger• Maintain all records in accordance with company guidelines• Various reporting activities

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

Escrow experience preferred

REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills• Experience within an office environment• Willing to learn and help wherever needed• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)• Ability to interact professionally with all levels of executives, peers, and employees• Understand the necessity to maintain confidentiality in all matters• Ability to learn new computer software systems

Additional Information

This position has the potential to earn compensation in the range of $20 - $25 based on location and job-related factors such as skillset and experience. Actual rate may vary within the range provided, depending on a number of factors, including skillset, experience and location. The base compensation is one component of the total rewards package offered to our employees, including optional health and welfare insurance (medical/dental/vision/life/disability); paid holidays, vacation, and sick time off; and matching 401(k) plan and matching employee stock purchase plan.
