About The Team

Join our team at Careem as a Business Finance Intern, where you will have a key role in shaping our financial strategies. This internship provides a valuable opportunity to engage in cost optimization activities, preparation of insightful financial models, and performing data analysis. Your contributions will be crucial in maintaining financial discipline and enhancing the company's financial well-being.

What you'll Do

● Support in cost optimization initiatives, projects, aiding in strategic financial planning.
● Help in implementing and monitoring initiatives to control expenditures against the budgets allocated for different markets.
● Assist in creating systems and dashboards to enhance visibility and control over financial spends, aiding in decision-making processes for various stakeholders.
● Collaborate with internal teams to refine and enhance financial systems and processes.
● Engage in ad-hoc financial projects and presentations, providing analytical support to the team.

What You’ll Need

● Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field, with a strong understanding of financial principles.
● Proficiency in Excel; SQL knowledge is a plus.
● Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with an active approach to obtaining insights and data for effective decision-making.
● Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
● Eagerness to learn and take on challenging tasks in a dynamic business setting.
