Engineering Intern

Responsibilities

We are currently looking for the right individual to join our Traffic Engineering Group, in the role of Engineering Intern. The candidate will be working on both traffic engineering and planning tools such as VISSIM, Synchro, Vistro, VISUM, Transcad and will get good exposure in developing technical skills.Additional requirements and position responsibilities include: 

• Responsible for small and medium sized simulation and pedestrian modelling, traffic management related studies
• Data analysis, intersection and network capacity assessment and interpretation, Level of Service (LOS)
• Handle both micro and macro level traffic planning projects with multitasking approach.
• Technical report writing, preparing, and delivering presentations.
• Knowledge in VisWalk is add on and will be given priority.
• Assist project management and business development duties.
• Engage in planning and public meetings, prepare, and participate in client presentations.

Qualifications

• Masters in Traffic Engineering / Transport Planning from reputed institute (Min qualification)
• Min 1 to Max 3 years’ experience in relevant field post to the master’s degree.
• Knowledge of the key drivers of Traffic Engineering and/or Transport Planning including traffic impact studies, area level traffic management plans, etc. (a strong plus preferably vissim and viswalk)
• Shall have a “can-do” attitude and genuine interest in modelling.
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience in US assignments will be add on
• Knowledge of local language (Gujrati) will be add on
