• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Economics, Data Science, Statistics, or a related discipline.
• Strong quantitative and analytical abilities, with an interest in policy and economic research.
• Familiarity with Excel, Power BI, R, Python, or other analytical tools (training or coursework acceptable).
• Understanding of data visualisation concepts and storytelling through data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and show initiative in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable Competencies:
• Exposure to GIS or spatial analysis techniques.
• Knowledge of global datasets (UN, World Bank, or national statistics).
• Curiosity about sustainability, urban development, and socio-economic policy.
• Enthusiasm for learning and contributing to real-world, evidence-based projects.

BGV:

  • Employment with WSP India is subject to the successful completion of a background verification (“BGV”) check conducted by a third-party agency appointed by WSP India.

• Assist in conducting applied economic analysis, including basic cost-benefit assessments and policy evaluations.
• Support data collection, cleaning, and management activities to ensure reliability and consistency.
• Help develop and update interactive dashboards (e.g. Power BI, Tableau) and visual reports.
• Contribute to transforming datasets into meaningful insights for business cases and socio-economic assessments.
• Collaborate with planners, transport specialists, and environmental teams to integrate data-driven findings.
• Support preparation of presentations, research summaries, and client deliverables.

• Support other teams across DPUD and Advisory as required.
