Roles and Responsibilities:

Seeking a motivated Power System intern to join our team and contribute to cutting edge projects in Generation Applications(Economic Dispatch and Automatic Generation Control), Transmission Applications (Load Flows, State Estimation, Contingency Analysis), Energy Market applications (Unit Commitment) and Wide Area Monitoring system applications (Oscillation source detection, Inertial response). This is a hands on role where you will gain experience with various customer projects

Responsibilities:

Assist in developing the Power System Models for various customers

Should have good programming knowledge in C++ to understand the existing product code and provide enhancements

Implement and test algorithms in the product stack

Support renewable energy integration and grid interconnection studies

Automate work flows for power system analytics

Education Qualification:

Masters Degree / PhD in Power Systems

Personal/Leadership Attributes:
• Has the ability to break down problems
• Understands the technology landscape, up to date on current technology trends and new technology, brings new ideas to the team.
• Displays understanding of the project's value proposition for the customer. Shows commitment to deliver the best value proposition for the targeted customer.
