Overview of what we do:

Identity and Access Management (IAM) is a fast-growing Career Field that offers many types of IAM jobs to interested and qualified candidates. IAM is a crucial aspect of Cyber Security that ensures the right people have the right access to the right resources at the right time. It refers to a set of processes, policies, and tools that work together to make sure that only the right people gain access while keeping unauthorized access at bay. The IAM team focus on these processes, policies, and tools, which support the creation, maintenance, and deactivation of a digital identity and related access rights.

Responsibilities/tasks:

As an Identity and Access Management Intern you will be tasked with participating in the below:

Executing user access provisioning and de-provisioning activities across multiple platforms (Active Directory, Unix, Outlook, Mainframe, SAP)
Providing support on access related queries (via Departmental Mailboxes, Chat Pods & Phone)
Troubleshooting and resolving access related issues
Collaborating with other IAM teams (IAM Access Governance, IAM Operations, IAM Privileged Access Management)
Ensuring compliance with established SLAs
Enforcing standards from Sun Life’s Logical Access Security Directive as it applies to user and logical access
