Job Description
Your opportunity
We are looking for a motivated and curious Procurement Intern to join our Procurement team.
The intern will support the procurement of goods and services, working closely with colleagues from the department and other business functions to ensure efficiency, quality, and cost optimization throughout the purchasing process.
How you will contribute
- Support the Procurement team in supplier research and selection activities.
- Collaborate on the request and analysis of quotations, comparing offers and commercial conditions.
- Update and maintain supplier databases and procurement-related reports.
- Analyse spending data and contribute to the development of category strategies.
- Support the negotiation of contracts and framework agreements.
- Assist the team in calculating and formalizing savings within the management tool.
- Take part in procurement process optimization projects.
- Main spending categories: Fleet, General Services, Security Services, IT, Professional Services, Construction, Store Planning, Sustainability Projects.
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree or final-year student in Economics, Management Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related fields.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of key purchasing processes.
- Excellent command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Good knowledge of English and Italian (spoken and written). The role requires participation in meetings with colleagues of various nationalities.
- Proactive attitude, teamwork skills, and results orientation.
