Position Overview

The AI Data Governance Analyst Intern will support data governance initiatives, focusing on cataloging, compliance, and metadata management to ensure responsible and effective use of data in AI projects.

Essential Duties

Include, but are not limited to, the following:

Support implementation of data governance frameworks and standards.
Contribute to metadata management, cataloging, and documentation.
Assist with compliance-related processes and audits.
Apply strong organizational and analytical skills to data governance tasks.
Display effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Uphold company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork.
Support and comply with the company’s Quality Management System policies and procedures.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
Ability to act with an inclusion mindset and model these behaviors for the organization.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD candidate in Data Science, Information Systems, or related field.
Strong proficiency in SQL and data analysis tools.
Familiarity with data cataloging, compliance, and governance tools.
Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with enterprise data catalog platforms (e.g., Collibra, Alation, Informatica).
Knowledge of AI/ML workflows and responsible AI practices.
