We are looking forTest Automation Developerinterns to join 4 of ourspecialized test automation teams!

Depending on your team assignment, here’s what you’ll do here:

Software Engineering Billing

  • Develop automated tests and contribute to the evolution of our testing practices in collaboration with the project team.

  • Analyze and resolve problems while exploring different automated testing techniques such as Selenium (Java), Cucumber (Gosu), and JMeter.

  • Gain experience in a complex, microservices-based architecture environment in the sector of billing management for property and casualty insurance (auto, home, and commercial).

  • Work within a dynamic and experienced team, applying Agile methodology.

Software Engineering Claims

  • Collaborate with the development team to build a new framework using Selenium, integrating API testing, designing, coding, and testing new features while resolving issues efficiently.

  • Expand and develop additional testing frameworks and modules to support multiple teams and squads, leveraging object-oriented programming skills in Java and knowledge of design patterns.

  • Maximize automation to assistclaims adjusters, focusing on total loss scenarios, and employing agile methodology (Scrum) to enhance effectiveness.

  • Deepen understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) to contribute towards seamless integration of automation and development objectives.

Software Engineering, Personal Lines

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Groovy and Cucumber, and perform manual testing across various environments.

  • Design, create, and manage test cases in Zephyr, linking them with Jira tickets, and execute both automated and manual tests.

  • Analyze test results, report issues with clear documentation, and collaborate with developers and quality assurance (QA) team members to resolve defects.

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives) and contribute ideas to enhance QA processes and automation frameworks.

  • Skills required: ReadyAPI, Java, a plus if familiar with TestNG/RestAssured, Jenkins, Maven, JIRA, Confluence, REST and SOAP knowledge, Cypress and Selenium, Agile/Scrum, Groovy, Cucumber, test management tools like Zephyr, CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (Git)

Software Development

  • Collaborate with the development team to effectively coordinate and resolve technical issues.

  • Design, code, and test new features, ensuring high quality and performance.

  • Demonstrate expertise in object-oriented programming, with a focus on Java.

  • Possess strong knowledge of design patterns and agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.

  • Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

What you bring to the table: 

  • Currently pursuing auniversity degree in software engineering, computer science, or a related field. 

  • Available to work with us full-time, 35 hours per week, for the Winter 2026 Term (January to April)   

  • Must be an active student during your internship and/or returning to school in next Summer2026 following your internship

  • Demonstrate strong communication skills, adaptability, and teamwork, while being a proactive, curious, and eager-to-learn team player.

  • Possess excellent logical reasoning and problem-solving abilities, coupled with a self-motivated, fast-learning attitude.
