Marketing Summer Intern

Internship Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Under the general supervision of the manager and mentor, the SummerMarketing Intern is responsible for the completion ofday-to-day tasks as defined below:

• Develop knowledge of the Oil and Gas Industry, specifically Energy Transactions and work under the supervision and guidance of an assigned and experienced mentor

• Review daily production, sales and flaring reports 

• Review scheduling functions

• Collaborate with other departments such as accounting to understand the accrual process 

• Read, reviewand develop an understanding of purchase contracts

• In addition, the Summer Intern will deliver a presentation outlining their completed work to Diamondback’supper management (CEO, CFO, COO, etc.)

• The Summer Intern will also have the opportunity toparticipate in Diamondback philanthropic endeavors that help the immediate community of Midland-Odessa

Required Qualifications:

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Energy Commerce, Energy Marketing (or similar) with a focus on Energy Transactions 

• Must have strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills

• Must be willing to work in Midland TX, for the duration of the internship 

Preferred Qualifications:

• GPA of 3.20 or higher preferred

• Extracurricular achievements or prior work experience is desirable
